Ben Madry is the HR Business Partner for the Coatings, Oil & Gas, and Adhesives & Sealants Market Facing Businesses. He joined Dow in 1990 in the Manufacturing Assignments Program (MAP) after receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University.  While this program, Madry has held various assignments within the Intermediate Products and Industrial Chemicals divisions of Texas Operations.

In 1992, he took an assignment in Caustic 1 as a Production Engineer.

In 1996, he transferred to Chlorine Production as a Sr. Production Engineer. 

Madry then joined Human Resources in 1999 as the Texas Operations Diversity Implementation Leader in Workforce Planning.  He was given the role of Cultural Integration SME for the Global Diversity Expertise Center that same year. 

In 2000, Ben was promoted to the role of HR Business Partner for HR Global R&D where he supported Hydrocarbons & Energy R&D, Thermosets R&D, Polyolefins R&D, and the Chemicals Business Group R&D. 

After the R&D re-structuring in 2004, Ben supported the Plastics R&D group as well as Core R&D. 

In 2006 he became the Sr. HR Leader supporting Performance Plastics & Chemicals R&D.
